Step-By-Step Guide Recruitment Process of the Philippine Coast Guard
STEP 1 : Meet the QualificationsFor Officers:
- Filipino Citizen
- With Good Moral Character
- Single
- 21 - 24 Years Old
- At Least 5'0" in Height
- Graduate of Any Four-Year Course
- Civil Service Eligible (with 82% and above exam rating)
- Licensed Professional
- Physically and Mentally Fit
- Pass the PCG Aptitude Battery Test
- Filipino Citizen
- With Good Moral Character
- Single
- 18 - 26 Years Old
- At Least 5'0" in Height
- Has Earned at least 72 Units or;
- Senior High School and TESDA Graduate
- Physically and Mentally Fit
- Pass the PCG Aptitude Battery Test
STEP 2: Submit the Initial Requirements
Upon meeting the aforementioned qualifications, You can now proceed to the next step- Submission of Initial Requirements. Submit the following documents to the nearest PCG district to schedule your PCG Aptitude Battery Test (ABT).
Here are the Initial Requirements:
- PCG ABT Application Form
- Personal Information Sheet
- PSA Birth Certificate
- Transcript of Records
- Diploma and/or Tesda Certificate
STEP 4: Take the Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
STEP 5: Take the Medical, Dental and Neurological Exams
STEP 6: Undergo Final Deliberation
STEP 7: Join the Oath Taking Ceremony of PCG Trainees
