An Air Traffic Management Officer (ATMO) generally monitors and directs the movement of aircraft on the ground and in the air using state-of-the-art computers and radio communication equipment to ensure a safe and secured airspace for pilots and the flying public.

     3. not more than twenty-six (26) years old as of March 28,2020, 
     4. physically, mentally and psychologically fit, 
     5. of good moral character, 
     6. with good command of oral and written English 
     7. without criminal, civil or administrative case, and 
     8. has not been dishonorably separated from Government or private service. 
 
B. Additional Qualifications: Air Traffic Management Officer (ATMO) 
      1. Baccalaureate degree holder of any course,

Successful examinees will undergo panel interview and physical examinations.

Philippine Air Traffic Management Officer's Salary

The starting salary for an entry level Air Traffic Management Officer (ATMO I) is at ₱51,155.00 (Salary Grade 20) per month (Regular Employee/Plantilla Item Holder) plus about ₱4,000.00 monthly allowance (₱2,000.00 PERA+₱2,000.00 OSP). ATMO Assistants (Job Order) are paid on a daily and no work, no pay basis, with a rate of ₱2,000.00

The previous two batches of the CAOCSP Program have two components, the ATS part (for Air Traffic Management Officers) and the ANS part for (CNSSO). The ANS trainees are expected to graduate after 6 (six) months, while the ATS trainees are expected to graduate after 10 months, upon completion of the theoretical and laboratory phases of their respective training programs. Unfortunately, CAOCSP Batch 3 is only for aspiring ATMOs.</div>

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) is launching the Civil Aviation Officer Candidate Scholarship Program (CAOCSP) Batch 02 to find young, competent men and women who will join the country's elite line of Air Traffic Management Officers (ATMOs), formerly Air Traffic Controllers or Airways Communicators, and Communication/Navigation Surveillance System Officers (CNSSOs). 
 
A. General Qualifications 
 
     1. Natural born citizen of the Philippines 
     2. single 
     3. not more than twenty-six (26) years old as of June 20, 2016, 
     4. physically, mentally and psychologically fit, 
     5. of good moral character, 
     6. with good command of oral and written English 
     7. without criminal, civil or administrative case, and 
     8. has not been dishonorably separated from Government or private service. 
 
B. Additional Qualifications: Air Traffic Management Officer (ATMO) 
 
     1. Baccalaureate degree holder of any course, Baccalaureate degree graduating students may apply upon submission of a Certification from the School Registrar that they will graduate by May 2016 or earlier. Transcript of Records or Certificate of Diploma must be submitted by June 1, 2016.

     3. must be a holder of RA 1080 or holder of Career Service Professional (CSP) Eligibility.

Successful examinees must also pass a panel interview and  physical examinations.</div>

CAOCSP Program: Things to know 
 
The CAOCSP Program has two components, the ATS part (for Air Traffic Management Officers) and the ANS part for (CNSSO). The ANS trainees are expected to graduate after 6 (six) months, while the ATS trainees are expected to graduate after 10 months, upon completion of the theoretical and laboratory phases of their respective training programs.</div>

Forty-one (41) trainees, (originally 60 qualified), are currently taking this year's Civil Aviation Officer Candidate Scholarship Program Batch 01  (24 CNSSO trainees and 17 ATMO trainees), which began on November 2015. Trainees from the CAOCSP Batch 1 class are expected to graduate this June 30, 2016. 
 
Philippine Air Traffic Management Officers 
 
Currently, there are about 470+ Philippine Air Traffic Controllers, assigned to different Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities in the country, and about 200 Airways Communicators assigned at different ACOMS facilities. Philippine Air Traffic Management Officer's Salary

An ATC/ATMO Assistant (Job Order) is paid on a daily basis (₱1,425/day for non-rated. ₱1,917/day for rated ATMO). The starting salary for a Philippine ATMO is at ₱42,000.00 per month (Regular Employee/Plantilla Item Holder) plus about ₱4,000.00 monthly allowance. 
 
Philippine CNSSO's Salary 
 
The Job Level of Communication/Navigation Surveillance System Officer I (entry level position) is JL-14 or about ₱42,000.00 per month (Regular Employee/Plantilla Item Holder).
